Musici Ireland, founded in 2012, has become a beloved fixture in Ireland's chamber music scene, renowned for their captivating performances and innovative collaborations. Their dedication to blending music with other art forms has earned them a special place in audiences' hearts, including right here in Wexford.
In January 2025, Musici Ireland launched their debut album, Earthrise, on the prestigious Divine Arts recording label Metier. Wexford audiences may fondly remember the world premiere of this title piece, composed by Wexford’s own Liam Bates, which was a highlight of our 2023 season.
For this evening’s concert, violist and Musici Ireland founder Beth McNinch (viola) is joined by acclaimed pianist Soo-Jung Ann, and versatile clarinetist Jessie Grimes,. Soo-Jung Ann has wowed audiences across Europe with her expressive artistry, while Jessie Grimes, known for her vibrant performances, is currently Artist-in-Residence with the National Concert Hall's Learning and Participation Programme.
The trio presents an exciting programme of works by Max Bruch, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Clara Schumann, promising a night of musical brilliance that is both emotive and exhilarating.
We are delighted to welcome these talented musicians back to Wexford and invite you to enjoy what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
Ticket prices for this concert are €20, €17 (concessions) and €5 (students/unwaged) and will be available at the door or on www.eventbrite.ie (a booking fee will apply and there are no refunds).
